This review contains spoiler!

In addition to the game on PlayStation 2, I’ve also played “The Godfather” series on PC and it’s fun. This film is a sequel to “The Godfather” first, the film is adapted from the novel trilogy Mario Puzo. In this sequel, Michael replaced his father’s position as Don. The sequel will also tell two stories at once that is Vito’s childhood until he became a Don and problems facing by Michael since becoming Don. In addition, some characters like Frankie and Clemenza also still exist in “The Godfather: Part II.”

Robert De Niro

The continuation of the Godfather saga with two focuses: the ongoing story of the Corleone family, and Michael in particular, and Vito Corleone’s (Michael’s father) backstory. Regarding the ongoing Michael Corleone story, it is about seven years since the events that concluded “The Godfather.” With the murders of the heads of the other four New York / New Jersey families, the Corleone family has unassailable control in New York. The move to Nevada went smoothly and Michael Corleone controls several hotels and casinos in the state. Frank Pentageli, the man who runs Michael’s interests in New York, comes to Michael, asking if he can take out the Rosato Brothers as they are infringing on Pentageli’s turf and business interests. However, the Rosatos are backed by Hyman Roth, a business partner of Michael’s and a long- time ally of Michael’s father, Vito Corleone, and Michael refuses. An attempted assassination attempt is then carried out on Michael’s life, in his own home. Michael investigates who is trying to kill him, and suspects that there is a traitor in his family. Meanwhile. Michael and Hyman Roth fly to Cuba to finalise some business deals there. The Cuban trip reveals all. In a story interwoven with the present day, we see the backstory to Vito Corleone. From how his parents and brother were murdered by a Don in their home town of Corleone in Sicily, to his escaping, as a boy, to New York, his adult life and his rise to Don Corleone.

You Broke My Heart

In this film, the actions of mafia murder more and crueler than the prequel. Michael shows a leader who is very cruel and doesn’t hesitate to kill his enemy even the person who betrayed and his brother also killed himself by Michael. The storyline of “The Godfather: Part II” looks more complex than the first film. The supporting characters in it are also reproduced, forget the main character and lost itself for no reason. One of them was Fredo’s betrayal and a trial suddenly ensnared by Michael. I think the first series is better and the story is very shaping compared to both of these series. For fans of “The Godfather” will also think so.

5 Star

Al Pacino’s acting is actually not too special in this movie compared to the first film. In fact, Marlon Brando is the one who is very similar to playing as a Don. When compared with Robert De Niro, Robert’s acting is more prominent in the appeal with Al Pacino. Naturally, Robert De Niro won the Oscar in 1975 with the category of Best Actor in a Supporting Role. “The Godfather: Part II” is still the perfect film. The shortcomings cover the advantages that exist in this movie.
